We were the first ones to believe in the value of our land. And we keep doing it, no change. Piedmont has always been a land for vineyards. Here, some grape varieties have developed to become world famous. In Piedmont, hidden by the gentle hills, native grapes grow to save surprising qualities for those whomade this discovery. This is our Collection: the sum of most nobles grapes from the region, which we distillate without interruptions since 1846, in the heart of Monferrato. We selected eight of them, "tremendously" Piedmontese, from white or red grape: from Barolo and Barbaresco Nebbiolo to Barbera, from Arneis to Dolcetto and yet Chardonnay, Ruché to the aromatic by excellence, Moscato. Different grapes "by nature", able to offer a wide landscape of Spirits, from Dry Grappas to the Soft ones. Four of them go to ageing, softening the spirits and adding a sparkle to "meditation". This is how we intend tradition: terroir Grappas, from very fresh pomace, locally supplied and promptly delivered, well preserved and distilled one by one, to get from each grape its soul and identity. A collection faithful to time, no scratches from outside passing trends. Pure essence of a diversified Piedmont. 35 COLLEZIONE MAZZETTI STORIE DI VITIGNO GRAPE STORIES Siamo stati i primi a credere nel valore del nostro territorio e continuiamo a farlo, senza alterazioni. Da sempre il Piemonte è una terra propensa alla coltivazione della vite. È qui che alcuni vitigni si sono sviluppati diventando nomi famosi in tutto il mondo. In Piemonte si nascondono fra i dolci rilievi collinari, vitigni autoctoni che riservano sorprendenti peculiarità a chi decide di scoprirli. Questa è la nostra Collezione: l'insieme dei più nobili vitigni di questa regione, che distilliamo ininter- rottamente dal 1846, nel cuore del Monferrato. Ne abbiamo selezionati cinque, "tremendamente" piemontesi, a bacca bianca e rossa: dai Nebbioli da Barolo e da Barbaresco alla Barbera, dall'Arneis fino all'aromatico per eccellenza: il Moscato. Vitigni "naturalmente" diversi, in grado di offrire un panorama ricco di distillati, dalle Grappe Secche a quelle Morbide. Per tre di loro l'invecchiamento va a ingentilire le grappe proponendo anche nuovi spunti di "meditazione". Questo è il nostro concetto di tradizione: grappe di "terroir", ottenute da vinacce freschissime, in quanto locali e di immediata consegna, ben conservate e distillate singolarmente, per trarre da ogni vitigno la sua vera anima e identità. Una Collezione fedele nel tempo, mai scalfita da tendenze estranee di passaggio. Pura essenza di un Piemonte dai tanti volti.
