Among the most anticipated autumn ingredients is chocolate, which will be the protagonist of special pairings throughout the day on Sunday, October 20th , in the village of Altavilla Monferrato. The town will once again host the " Chocolate in Monferrato " event, which from dawn to dusk will feature numerous exhibitions, tastings, and workshops along the town's streets. On the same day, at Viale Unità d'Italia 2, the historic Mazzetti d’Altavilla grappa shop will open its doors to visitors to offer pairings between the event's star (chocolate) and spirits, celebrating autumn, which marks the company's 178th distilling season . The Casa della Grappa , a former monastery, will be open from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm , offering Mazzetti-branded spirits and a selection of fine chocolates created by the Piedmontese brand Baratti & Milano, with which the historic grappa company of Altavilla Monferrato has embarked on a collaborative journey, culminating in the opening of several "Grappa & Cioccolato Store" in the Northwest. During the day, visitors will be able to access the Cafeteria and the Votive ChapelLa Rotonda" , as well as take part in guided tours in the morning and afternoon and witness the distillation process firsthand. In the Grappa Store visitors will also be able to discover the latest autumn releases, including Marrons Grappés, Liqueur and Grappa-infused Chocolates , and the latest additions to Mazzetti d’Altavilla such as "Animo," the company's first whisky, recently launched. During the day, visitors will also have access to a special gourmet and relaxation area in the venue's historic park, where they can indulge in the irresistible combination of chocolate and spirits , as well as some sweet creations from the restaurant Materia Prima, open for lunch with its new autumn menu.
