These conditions are governed by applicable Italian legislation, in particular by Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code), by Legislative Decree 70/2003 on electronic commerce and by the European provisions applicable to distance selling.

Before making a purchase, the Customer is invited to carefully read these conditions.

These General Conditions of Sale apply to purchases made through the website www.mazzetti.it by private and professional customers, in Italy and in foreign countries where the online sales service is active.

“Customer” means the person who makes a purchase through the site.

“Consumer” means the natural person who purchases products for purposes outside of his or her entrepreneurial, commercial, artisanal, or professional activity.

The mandatory provisions established for the protection of consumers prevail over any incompatible clauses contained in these conditions.

Mazzetti d’Altavilla reserves the right to modify the General Conditions of Sale. The changes will apply exclusively to orders placed after they are published on the website.

To place an order, the Customer must complete the purchase procedure provided on the site, providing truthful, complete and updated information.

If registration is required, the Customer is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his/her credentials.

The sale of alcoholic beverages is reserved exclusively to persons who have reached the minimum legal age required in the destination country, and in any case not less than 18 years.

The Customer declares that he/she meets the requirements necessary to purchase the products ordered.

Mazzetti d’Altavilla reserves the right to verify the age of the buyer and recipient, including through the delivery personnel, in accordance with applicable law.

In case of non-compliance with the legal requirements, the order cannot be fulfilled.

The products sold are described in the relevant information sheets on the website, containing the main characteristics and information necessary for purchasing.

The images are for illustrative purposes only. Any differences in color, packaging, or graphic details do not affect the product's conformity to the declared essential characteristics.

Product availability is subject to warehouse stock.

If a product becomes unavailable after the order has been placed, Mazzetti d’Altavilla will promptly inform the Customer, proposing an alternative where possible.

Replacement with different products will only take place with the prior consent of the Customer.

If it is not possible to process the order, any amounts already paid for unavailable products will be refunded without undue delay, in compliance with the terms established by applicable law.

Product prices are expressed in euros and include applicable taxes based on the destination and tax regime of the sale, as specified during the purchase process.

The price applied is the one indicated at the time the order is completed.

Any promotions, discounts, and special offers are valid under the terms and conditions communicated on the site.

Shipping costs and any additional costs applied by the seller are indicated separately before the order is confirmed.

In the event of an obvious material error in the published price, Mazzetti d’Altavilla will inform the Customer and propose either confirming the purchase at the correct price or canceling the order with a refund of any amounts paid, in compliance with applicable legislation.

Mazzetti d’Altavilla sells and ships both in Italy and to selected foreign destinations through its website www.mazzetti.it.

The countries in which it is possible to make purchases are those available during the ordering process.

Product availability and delivery methods may vary depending on the destination country, trade restrictions, and tax, customs, and alcoholic beverage regulations.

For international shipments, Mazzetti d’Altavilla operates in compliance with applicable VAT, excise, customs, and import regulations.

Any customs duties, import taxes, and additional charges are managed according to the conditions communicated to the Customer before the purchase is completed and in compliance with the responsibilities established by law.

Mazzetti d’Altavilla may limit the availability of specific products or destinations if the regulatory or operational conditions necessary for sale and delivery do not exist.

The following conditions apply to shipments within Italy:

• Orders of €60.00 or more: free shipping.
• Orders under €60.00: shipping fee of €9.00.

For orders destined for international destinations, shipping costs are determined based on the destination country, the characteristics of the order, and the applicable tariffs.

The shipping cost is communicated during the purchase process, before the final confirmation of the order.

The free shipping threshold for Italy does not automatically apply to international shipments.

Any promotions dedicated to specific countries will be indicated on the website.

The Customer selects the desired products, places them in the cart and completes the purchase procedure.

Before finalizing the order, the Customer can check the selected products, the total price, the delivery costs, the data entered and correct any errors.

Placing an order implies an obligation to pay.

Upon receipt of your order, Mazzetti d’Altavilla will send you an email confirming receipt.

The contract is considered concluded when Mazzetti d’Altavilla communicates acceptance of the order, according to the procedure provided on the website.

The company reserves the right not to accept orders for justified reasons, including product unavailability, payment failure, insufficient data, or regulatory impediments relating to the destination.

Any amounts already collected for unaccepted orders will be refunded without undue delay.

Mazzetti d’Altavilla prepares and ships orders to the address indicated by the Customer.

Shipment is generally arranged within 48 working hours of order acceptance or payment confirmation, where applicable.

For shipments to Italy, delivery takes approximately 4 working days.

For international shipments, delivery times may vary depending on the destination country, the transport service, and any customs procedures.

The times communicated are indicative, without prejudice to the agreed delivery terms and the rights recognised to the consumer by the applicable legislation.

The Customer is required to provide a correct and complete address and to cooperate reasonably with the carrier to enable delivery.

The risk of loss or damage to the products passes to the consumer when the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, physically acquires possession of the goods, except for the exceptions provided by law.

Upon delivery, the Customer is invited to check the integrity of the packaging, the number of packages and the absence of obvious damage.

In the event of any anomalies, we recommend making a specific reservation on the delivery document and documenting the damage with photographs.

To facilitate the management of the request, the Customer is invited to communicate the order number and, where possible, to attach photographs.

Mazzetti d’Altavilla will verify the report and manage it in accordance with applicable legislation.

Failure to immediately contest the delivery to the courier does not result in the loss of the consumer's rights.

The consumer customer has the right to withdraw from the contract, without providing reasons, within 14 calendar days of receiving the products, except for the exceptions provided by law.

In the case of separate deliveries relating to a single order, the term starts from the receipt of the last item.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must communicate his decision by means of an explicit declaration sent to:

The consumer can use the standard withdrawal form available on the website or send another unequivocal declaration.

It is sufficient to send the communication within the withdrawal period.

The consumer must return the products within 14 days of communicating the withdrawal, unless Mazzetti d’Altavilla has offered to collect them directly.

The direct costs of return are borne by the consumer, provided that this circumstance has been communicated before the conclusion of the contract, without prejudice to any applicable mandatory provisions.

The products must be adequately packaged for transport, taking into account their fragility.

The consumer is responsible for any decrease in the value of the goods resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, within the limits established by law.

The right of withdrawal is excluded exclusively in the cases provided for by Article 59 of the Consumer Code and any applicable mandatory provisions.

These may include, where the conditions are actually met, clearly personalized products and sealed goods which are not suitable for return for hygiene or health protection reasons and which have been opened after delivery.

Opening only the outer packaging does not automatically result in the loss of the right of withdrawal.

In the event of a valid exercise of the right of withdrawal, Mazzetti d’Altavilla will refund any payments received, including the standard delivery costs originally incurred by the consumer, within the limits established by law.

Any additional costs resulting from choosing a more expensive delivery method than the least expensive standard one proposed will not be refunded.

The refund will be made without undue delay and in any case within 14 days of notification of withdrawal.

Mazzetti d’Altavilla may withhold reimbursement until the products are received or until proof of their return is provided, whichever occurs first, unless the customer has offered to collect the goods.

The refund will be made using the same means of payment used for the initial transaction, unless otherwise expressly agreed with the consumer and at no additional cost to the latter.

Products sold to consumers are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided for by Articles 128 et seq. of the Consumer Code, as well as any mandatory provisions applicable to the consumer based on their country of residence.

In the event of a lack of conformity, the consumer may request the remedies provided by law, including, where applicable, replacement, price reduction, or termination of the contract.

All inalienable rights recognized to the consumer remain intact.

Mazzetti d’Altavilla issues the tax documents required by applicable legislation.

The Customer is required to provide the tax information requested during the purchase procedure, based on their qualifications and the country of destination.

If an invoice is requested or required, the Customer must provide the necessary information for the correct heading.

You can specify a billing address that is different from your shipping address.

Mazzetti d’Altavilla is not liable for delays or failures to fulfill obligations due to force majeure or unforeseeable and unavoidable circumstances, to the extent permitted by law.

Such events may include natural disasters, extraordinary transport disruptions, government measures and other events beyond our reasonable control.

The consumer's statutory rights, including those relating to delivery, refunds, and the legal guarantee, remain unaffected.

The personal data provided by Customers are processed in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable legislation.

These General Conditions of Sale are governed by Italian law.

For contracts concluded with consumers resident in other countries, the mandatory protection provisions applicable pursuant to private international law remain in force.

For disputes with consumers, the judicial authority identified by the applicable legislation has jurisdiction.

For disputes relating to contracts concluded with professional clients, the Court of Alessandria has exclusive jurisdiction, to the extent permitted by law.

The possibility of resorting to alternative dispute resolution (ADR) tools, where applicable, remains unaffected.
