Materia Prima was created to pay homage to the excellence of Monferrato: carefully selected ingredients, Piedmontese tradition reinterpreted with a contemporary twist, and a menu that evolves with the seasons. The same flavors, never the same.

Materia Prima 's menu changes every two months: it evolves with the seasons and the local produce, reflecting the best Monferrato has to offer at that time. Download it, but be warned: by your next visit, it might already be different.

Where the dish meets the spirit.

It's something you can only do here: a tasting menu where each course pairs with a house grappa, brandy, or whisky. Raw Fassona beef meets Grappa di Ruchè, dessert finishes with Animowhisky: harmonious pairings and contrasts carefully crafted dish by dish.

With 15 years of experience behind him, Mattia transforms his innate passion for fresh pasta, baking, and desserts into true culinary works of art every day. For him, cooking isn't just a job; it's a calling, a way of living the passion that accompanies him every day.

Our rising star in the kitchen. At just 21, Anna brings five years of culinary experience, a passion that has burned brightly since she was a child cooking with her grandmother. Her thirst for knowledge drives her to constantly study and embrace the art of experimentation in the kitchen, accepting that every mistake is a step towards greatness. For Anna, innovation isn't just a job, it's an exciting journey.

Fabio Refosco

Our team's veteran maestro, with an impressive 36-year culinary career. His journey began in the kitchens of Courmayeur, in the Aosta Valley, an adventure that led him to hone his craft in Casale Monferrato, and then spread his passion through catering throughout Europe. But don't let his vast experience fool you; at heart, Fabio remains a chocolate lover, a little secret that infuses sweetness into his cuisine every day.
