On Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September, the Intensive Spirits Course will take place at Mazzetti d’Altavilla organised by Anag, to learn about Piedmontese spirits

What are the best techniques for tasting Italy's quintessential spirit? An opportunity to learn about grappa and the proper tasting methods is offered by the first-level Intensive Spirits Course organized byANAG Piemonte and the Alessandria Section in collaboration with Mazzetti d’Altavilla, a grappa producer that will host the training program during the period when the pomace arrives and the distillation process begins.

Aspiring grappa and brandy tasters will be welcomed by the fascinating setting of the Monferrato Casalese, where the course will take place on Saturday 29 September and Sunday 30 September and will include theoretical parts and practical guided tasting.

The two-day event, dedicated to in-depth study, also includes a guided tour of the production facilities and the discovery of unique gastronomic pairings between spirits and food.

The course will take place if at least 20 participants register.

For information and registration (by September 17), please contact: Cagnina Gianfranco, ANAG delegate for Alessandria, Tel. 348 3734200 or 340 8311294; email: cagnina.gianfranco@libero.it or cagnina.gianfranco@gmail.com
