Two weekends of visits and tastings to welcome distillation
In a new edition to welcome autumn, the Golosaria in Monferrato will also stop at Mazzetti d’Altavilla, the most historic distillery in the North-West located on the top of the Altavilla Monferrato hill, with two weekends (Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th and Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September) dedicated to discovering the art of distillation, precisely in the period when the first fragrant pomace arrives from the Piedmontese wineries.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a variety of experiences: from free guided tours (departing at 10 am, 11:15 am, 3:30 pm, and 5 pm, by reservation, to ensure maximum safety), to the open-air tasting of the Toscano cigar in collaboration with the ADT Club, which will offer pairings with Monferrato spirits… not to mention the breakfasts in the Cafeteria , the Sunday light lunches (with a typical dish and a glass of wine or water for €8 each), the aperitifs on the Mazzetti Terrace (€10 each), and the complete tasting menu experience at the Restaurant Materia Prima . Throughout the day (from 9 am to 6:30 pm), the venue will offer guided spirits tastings and visitors can also visit the Votive Chapel La Rotonda and the photographic exhibition “ Monferrato in the Spirit .” To ensure the safety of our guests and avoid crowds, all tours, aperitifs, light lunches, and lunches are available upon reservation.
