On Wednesday, October 31st, Altavilla will host "The Ghost of the Mazzetti House," a dinner animated by the Stardust Company in collaboration with Smov Eventi.
An original Halloween experience to be spent at the Distillery becoming Scotland Yard inspectors. This is what's in store for the evening of Wednesday, October 31st, at the historic headquarters of Mazzetti d’Altavilla, atop the hill of Altavilla Monferrato. The new Restaurant Materia Prima will host actors from the Stardust Company, a cultural association from Casale Monferrato that was among the first to bring the tradition of the murder mystery dinner to eastern Piedmont about ten years ago, innovating it with exclusive features.
The participants (the event is by reservation and places are limited) will take part in a special dinner as the gastronomic proposals will be enlivened and the atmosphere of Halloween night will be brought to life by the live interpretation of the original texts, written by the author Manuela Solerio, set between the 1920s and 1940s, in order to allow a staging in historical costume and with recited interventions, which allow the diners to identify more with the narrated material.
At Mazzetti d’Altavilla, in collaboration with Vittoria Oglietti 's Smov Eventi and Stardust Company , an exceptional text is presented, " The Ghost of Casa Mazzetti," one of the author's favorites, co-written with Mattia Costa . Casa Mazzetti will become a mysterious place for one evening, with the fascinating yet disturbing presence of a ghost, a young woman who died violently centuries before, who seems to appear to those who are about to suffer the same fate. And, in a story of a death foretold, there really is a murder. Lady Mary dies before everyone's eyes and there are numerous suspects. Guests are called upon to become Scotland Yard inspectors: by examining clues and questioning witnesses, they must discover the culprit on their own.
