On Tuesday, April 15, Mazzetti d’Altavilla opens the doors of the grappa factory to celebrate Italian entrepreneurship with free guided tours and tastings in the historic headquarters
On Tuesday, April 15, to mark National Made in Italy Day, Mazzetti d’Altavilla opens the doors of its grappa factory, offering guided tours to discover the magical art of distillation. The tours, free for the occasion, include various stops in areas linked to the creation of Italian spirits: Piazzale delle Vinacce, the Distillery with Production Facilities, the Aging Cellar, Galleria della Grappa , and Grappa Store. The tour route also includes access to the Historic Park with the Votive Chapel "La Rotonda" (dating back to 1808) and the Garden, and guided tastings of young and aged grappas are also available.
Two tours are scheduled: at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Reservations are required (subject to availability) and can be made directly on the visit.mazzetti.it platform, by email at eventi@mazzetti.it , or by calling +39 0142 926147.
The initiative is part of the nationwide calendar of events published by the Ministry of Made in Italy Business to celebrate the Italian entrepreneurial spirit on the occasion of the birth of a great Italian genius: Leonardo da Vinci. The event is supported by Museimpresa and theHistorical Brands Association which also includes Mazzetti d’Altavilla. These organizations, among 45 nationwide, include production plants, museums, and company archives that welcome the public to celebrate Italian know-how and its future.
Distillation is also an art that enriches Italian entrepreneurial traditions, as visitors will be able to discover by taking part in tours at Mazzetti d’Altavilla, available not only on April 15th but every day.
