Dedicated to the hand of man
Once upon a time there was a rebellious vine…
It all began with a harvest of exceptional quality. It happened in 1820, when the grapes of the Port area were of unparalleled quality, generating a huge demand for that nectar. This demand, in subsequent years, could only be satisfied by adding brandy to the fermenting must. Thus Port, an aromatized wine that today meets the quintessential soft grappa of Piedmont: Moscato. The latter ages for at least eighteen months in fine wood, finishing its maturation in barrels previously used for Port, imparting truly fascinating aromas and flavors.
