When Casa Mazzetti first aged its wine distillate, it was already clear that
it would take years to achieve the typical smoothness of the then "Arzente" aged in barriques. Thus, the number of months in a year became the number of years over which this wine distillate was refined with the addition of the most suitable wood essences. This resulted in a delightful product, easy to drink, even on a daily basis, thanks to its rich and clean bouquet, a true "bridge" between young wine distillate and long aging. These are sips in which the still evident traits of the wine's primary aromas can be found, already revealing the intensity of long aging.
