On Saturday, March 30th and Sunday, March 31st, "Golosaria Tra i Castelli del Monferrato", a rich series of events dedicated to the region and its food and wine, including a stop at the top of the Altavilla Monferrato hill. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy delicious breakfasts, free guided tours, sensory tastings, and lunches and dinners at the Materia Prima, recently featured on television in an episode of the show "4 Ristoranti," hosted by chef Alessandro Borghese.
The weekend of May 25th and 26th will be dedicated to "Open Cellars," promoted by the Piedmont Wine Tourism Movement: two days to discover the art of distilling through free tours and tastings, new delicious menus at Materia Prima , as well as food pairings, exhibitions, and special new features.
For autumn lovers, October will be the month of "Grappe Aperte," an event (usually held on the first weekend of the month) included in "Piemonte Grappa," the opening day of Piedmontese grappa shops organized by the Consorzio Tutela Grappa del Piemonte e Grappa di Barolo.
And for those with a sweet tooth, don't miss "Chocolate in Monferrato," a day dedicated to the unmistakable flavor of one of the most sought-after flavors. This year, it's scheduled for Sunday, October 20th, with pairings, tastings, and tours.
