An ancient elixir of herbs, berries, and roots inspired Amaro Gentile. Each variety brings its own distinctive notes and traditional fragrant, flavoring, and digestive properties. Some of the herbs rest in Grappa di Moscato Invecchiata, while the remainder are infused in alcohol with orange and lemon zest: sage, marjoram, gentian root, and thyme are recognizable. A prized digestif, Amaro Gentile also makes an aperitif, chilled with ice, perhaps with mint and lemon zest.
