The face of the young Monferrato distiller among the professions to be revealed
Chiara Belvedere Mazzetti , a young representative of the seventh generation of “Distillatori dal 1846,” was also among the guests who appeared on Thursday, January 9th , in prime time, on the television program “ I Soliti Ignoti ,” hosted by Amadeus on Rai Uno . The representative of Mazzetti d’Altavillastood out among the numerous viewers , a company that has been active for 174 years in the hills of Monferrato, was in fact invited to the well-known television program in her capacity as a producer of spirits: in particular, the image of Gin , one of the fragrant products (made with fresh 100% Piedmontese botanicals) that bears the signature of the distillery located atop the Altavilla Monferrato hill and distributed internationally. The appearance of Chiara Belvedere Mazzetti as an "unknown face" whose profession had to be guessed (in this case, " gin producer ") also facilitated, thanks to the exchanges between host Amadeus and the contestant, a moment of promotion of Monferrato , a region recognized for its " excellent and prized wines ." After asking for the clue, Florentine architect Camilla was convinced of the profession of face number 5 and actually guessed the profession of the face of Mazzetti d’Altavilla. " The experience was very pleasant ," Chiara commented, " and in particular, I felt great satisfaction when I heard the contestant recognize the great winemaking value of Monferrato, a region in which my family, company, and I strongly believe ."
Chiara Belvedere Mazzetti's television appearance has further contributed to confirming at a national level the full entry of the fairer sex into the distilling profession, which, at Mazzetti d’Altavilla, has been handed down since before the unification of Italy and which for two generations now has seen the Mazzetti family characterised byfemale entrepreneurial commitment and by a continuous valorisation of Piedmontese distillation through its many facets, including Gin.
