The historic distillery is among the 24 Piedmontese companies present in the ranking
With a growth rate of just under 10% over the last five years, Mazzetti d’Altavilla is among the top 500 Italian "Growth Leaders" according to the rankings compiled by Sole 24 Ore and Statista. The ranking was published recently by the renowned Italian business newspaper, analyzing the revenue growth of the self-nominated Italian companies between 2021 and 2024. The only one in the province of Alessandria, the historic distillery grew, during the period under review, from over €10 million in turnover in 2021 to over €13.6 million last year. This performance has earned the company a spot among the 4.8% of Italian companies in the food and beverage sector, and it has also earned it a spot among just 24 Piedmontese "Growth Leaders," representing the entire Eastern Piedmont region. The remaining 23 are all located in the provinces of Turin and Cuneo. This news was welcomed with joy at the Altavilla Monferrato headquarters, where the busy Christmas season is currently underway, offering customers a wide range of innovative gift ideas every year. "In these challenging economic times internationally, we remain focused on connecting with and building customer loyalty, striving to translate the motto inherited from previous generations, 'Tradition and Innovation,' comments General Manager Silvia Belvedere Mazzetti . " " these words are more than just a slogan; they guide us, on the one hand, to promote our region and its raw materials, and on the other, to always keep an eye on the contemporary. Being ranked as a 'Growth Leader' on the eve of our 180th anniversary is an honor for us: we see this recognition as a new starting point... because, after all, constant challenges are the essence of Italian entrepreneurship."
In 2025, the company continued its journey with many new products (from Mazzetti Tonic Waters to Vermouth di Torino toAmaro Zero Mazzetti) as well as the expansion of its Grappa Store with a new location in Alessandria. And the company's growth also brings good news to the local area in terms of employment: Mazzetti d’Altavilla has reached the threshold of 77 internal collaborators.
