Friday, October 21st, a multi-sensory evening at Mazzetti d’Altavilla with a performance of "Vignale in Danza 2022"
An iconic Monferrato grape variety and its food pairings, a thrilling dance performance, a crescendo of scents and aromas of local grappas. This is the mix of ingredients that characterize the special evening of Friday, October 21st at Mazzetti d’Altavilla where the event " Four Steps on the Via del Ruchè " will take place , part of the Vignale in Danza 2022 program . The underlying theme of the rich program is the native grape variety of the area surrounding Castagnole Monferrato, a "legendary" expression of a land that retains its authentic features despite the passage of time. And who better than Ruchè, saved from extinction thanks to the passion and contagious foresight of a parish priest (Don Giacomo Cauda), can symbolize the ancestral tenacity of Monferrato? A grape variety in which structure and refinement coexist thanks to the rare blend of robustness and delicacy of its distinctly floral notes. These characteristics can be experienced through a multi-sensory evening like the one next Friday at the "Casa della Grappa." At 8:00 pm, interested parties can take their seats in Materia Prima , the distillery's on-site restaurant, where they will be treated to a tasting menu accompanied by carefully selected pairings featuring Ruchè labels from the Ferraris Agricola winery in Castagnole Monferrato, currently owner of the "Vigna del Parroco," the historic Ruchè vineyards protected by Don Cauda. The presence of producer Luca Ferraris himself will allow diners to learn more about the characteristics of the wines offered during dinner (reservations are required, subject to availability, by calling 0142 926215). At 9:30 pm, " Ruchè a tempo di Grappa " will begin, the dance performance promoted as part of the 2022 edition of Vignale in Danza. “ The show ,” anticipates Michela Maggiolo , artistic director of the well-known Vignalese festival, “ covers pages of history both of the company and of Altavilla, also combining the classical tradition of theater and poetry, thanks to the actress Valeria Nicolucci. A journey that involves all the senses, thanks to the harp music of Irene Zanghì, the dance of Evelyn La Felice, Ginevra Ippoliti, Giada Reineri, Elena Rodilosso and Karen Minihan with choreography by Michela Tartaglia. The choreography and costumes are inspired by Ruché and the spirits that will be proposed during the evening, placing the focus on the territory and the company.
