THE SPIRITS OF MAZZETTI D’ALTAVILLA ON THE PODIUM

A Gin, a Grappa and an Amaro signed by Mazzetti obtain a shower of awards in national and international competitions dedicated to excellence and innovation

There's a sector of Made in Italy that's increasingly distinguishing itself nationally and internationally. The distilling world is in the spotlight, with a historic Piedmontese brand of spirits and liqueurs rising to the podium in recent weeks at prestigious Italian and international competitions. For Mazzetti Mazzetti d’Altavilla, a production house established in 1846, these are days of celebration, having received special medals for excellence, innovation, and the concept of various spirits created in the Monferrato hills. Climbing the podium at the prestigious German competition ISW ​​(International Spirits Competition) is Gin Mazzetti Black Edition , which, less than a year after its creation, won over the expert jury in Germany, earning the "Gold" medal. This success comes just months after the Bargiornale Barawards, where this gin, with its strong personality and savory, peppery notes, took second place in the "Innovation Award" among spirits. Shifting attention to grappas, the Riserva 7.0 Le Origini instead convinced the examiners of the “Bartender.it” competition, held during the recent edition of Mixology Experience, part of Tuttofood Milano. Using the blind test method, the tasters evaluated the Grappa of the native Ruchè grape variety, derived from the sole distillation of the pomace from the “Vigna del Parroco®” of Castagnole Monferrato (operated by Ferraris Agricola), as the “Best Grappa Riserva”, also awarding it the title of “Best Innovation”, for its ability to innovate tradition and interpret the evolution of the beverage in a modern way. Mazzetti d’Altavilla bagged a double success at the Amaro Awards . It'sAmaro Gentile Mazzetti , which can now boast the titles of "Best Amaro" and "Best Idea/Concept," dedicated to creativity applied to production.
