Weekend of visits and tastings to welcome distillation
The Golosaria event in Monferrato will also stop this year at Mazzetti d’Altavilla, the historic distillery located at the top of the Altavilla Monferrato hill, with an entire weekend (Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th September) dedicated to discovering the art of distillation, precisely at the moment of arrival of the first fragrant pomace from the Piedmontese wineries.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a variety of experiences: from guided tours for small groups (departing on both days at 10:00 , 11:00, 15:00, 16:00, and 17:00, by reservation until all available places are filled), to the open-air tasting of the Tuscan cigar in collaboration with the ADT Club, which will offer pairings with Monferrato spirits... not to mention the new September tasting menu at the Restaurant Materia Prima (served Friday evening, Saturday lunch and dinner, and Sunday lunch, until all available places are filled) with the unique option of taking a tasting tour of food and spirits. Throughout the day (open from 9:00 to 12:30 and from 15:00 to 18:30), the venue will offer guided spirits tastings . It will also be possible to visit the Votive Chapel La Rotonda and the photographic exhibition "Monferrato in the Spirit" in the Historic Park.
