The Vermouth and Bitter Festival will also stop in Monferrato from April 10th to 26th. The distillery, which also produces Bitter Mazzetti and the new Vermouth di Torino Mazzetti, will open its doors to visitors, becoming one of the participating producers of the Vermouth and Bitter Route, which aims to encourage visits, tastings, and in-depth explorations to enhance the sensory culture of these increasingly sought-after spirits. The event, which focuses specifically on Piedmontese tradition, reaches its fifth edition and is aimed not only at enthusiasts and experts, but also at the curious who wish to delve into a regional production heritage consolidated over centuries. Mazzetti d’Altavilla will offer guided tours of its premises throughout the Festival, especially on Saturdays and Sundays (starting at 10:45 a.m. or 4:00 p.m.) by reservation. The tours will be accompanied by guided tastings of grappa and spirits, with a particular focus on Vermouth di Torino Mazzetti and Bitter Mazzetti, two iconic spirits that can be savored during the tours. Both Vermouth di Torino and Bitter Mazzetti are created from original recipes that give the two products original profiles, making them suitable for consumption on their own at a low alcohol content and also extending their use to classic and contemporary mixology. Reservations can be made on visit.mazzetti.it by selecting the "Tour & Tasting" experience and choosing a date from those available between April 10th and 26th.
