With Luigi Barberis, we're creating this variation of the classic Mine Julep, replacing the bourbon with Ruché Grappa 7.0. The result is a drink with a fresh and aromatic flavor, enhanced by the grappa di Ruché for a touch of aromatic smoothness.
Ingredients:
1.5 cl of sugar syrup with mint and Angostura bitters
7 fresh mint leaves
6 cl of Grappa di Ruché 7.0 Mazzetti d’Altavilla
Ice
Mint leaves and icing sugar for garnish
Cocktail preparation:
In a glass, mix the sugar with a few drops of Angostura bitters, the mint leaves and a little grappa 7.0.
Add ice until the glass is about 2/3 full.
Add the Mazzetti d’Altavilla Grappa di Ruché 7.0 and begin stirring well with a bar spoon until the glass is chilled and the ice is slightly diluted. Add more 7.0 and more ice until the glass is full.
Garnish with mint leaves and dust with icing sugar.
