Join Luigi Barberis to learn how to make a Collins!
The Collins is a light and refreshing cocktail, perfect for enjoying on a hot day, perhaps with friends at an outdoor cocktail hour. Its balanced flavor, combining the acidity of lemon and the sweetness of sugar syrup, makes it a popular and versatile drink. Thanks to the soda water, it's very thirst-quenching and easy to drink.
Ingredients:
5 cl of Gin Mazzetti
1.5 cl of lemon juice
1 cl of sugar syrup
Soda
Lemon zest for decoration
Instructions:
Fill a highball glass with ice.
Add the gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup directly into the glass.
Mix gently with a bar spoon to combine the ingredients well.
Add more ice and soda water to the glass until it is full.
Mix gently again.
Add a lemon zest to garnish.
The build-in-glass technique, or building directly in the glass, is a simple and quick cocktail preparation technique, where the ingredients are added directly into the glass and then mixed.
